We often receive requests to reproduce extracts from our authors’ work and it is impractical for us to answer these by telephone.

If you would like to request permission to use an extract or quotation, please write to us providing the following information:

  1. The exact extract you wish to use (please include a word count)
  2. How you plan to use it: i.e., is the material intended to be included in a published work?
  3. The print run; the publication date; the name of the intended publisher.
  4. The territories the permission needs to cover
  5. The intended audience i.e. is the work for profit?
  6. Educational or Charitable use?

We aim to respond within a month of receipt and do our best to answer such requests promptly.
