Ruby Davis, a young bootlegger, isn’t worried about the big-city men muscling in on her boss’s territory—until they start biting necks. It’s a big jump from ferrying liquor through Appalachia to hunting vampires through the nightclubs of Manhattan, with only an ex-showgirl and a gangland doctor for backup, but Ruby is out for revenge and nothing can stop her. Or so she tells herself, but being so focused on her target puts her in danger of missing a threat closer to home.
