Happy new year to all our friends.
2019 ended on a high note with Catherine Bruton’s No Ballet Shoes in Syria winning the children’s fiction category of the Books Are My Bag Award.
Alastair Chisholm’s The Prince The Witch The Thief and the Bears shortlisted for the Bookbug Picture Book Award and Defying Gravity Jordan Mooney and Cathi Unsworth being selected as a Book of the Year in various round ups, I couldn’t begin to imagine what 2020 might bring but it is already delivery with two great publications.
Alastair Chisholm’s Orion Lost – currently Blackwell’s Book of the Month – which also has a cracking playlist if you purchase a copy!
And for crime fans, the reissue for Jane Isaac’s Beth Chamberlain series kicking off with The Other Woman a page-turning domestic noir.
